Jornada dedicada a la experimentacion interdisciplinar con los alumnos de 1º, 2º y 3º de Preescolar del CEIP la Biznaga, Málaga. Talleres impartidos por Chinowski Garachana de la Asociacion Cultural El sueño de Tesla. Abril-Mayo 2010.

Durante la primera parte de la jornada se utilizó version educacional de Abletom Live 8 como DAW y el Launchpad para lanzar sonidos.

Los niños en esta sesión eran los de 3º de primaria (5 años), no tuvieron ningún problema a la hora de ponerse a manipular el hardware, el hecho de poder cambiar los colores a los loops fue muy divertido provocando mucha interación.

En la segunda parte se utilizó la aplicación gratuita Max/msp Runtime con Nonome (emulador de monome) conectado al Launchpad, los niños comenzaron a hacer música, para ser la primera vez que utilizaban cacharreria tecnológica, no les pareció nada complicado.

• First of all, you need to get a authorized version of Modul8 : the demo version will not work because it cannot access the online library. Please contact us at contact(AT)iduun(DOT)com if you only have the demo version : we will send you the module without using the online library.
• You need an internet connection as well.
• Before you start playing around, here are the steps to launch everything :
  • 1. If you have a Monome, plug in it, then launchMonomeSerial (if not, skip this step)
  • 2. Launch Modul8 
  • 3. Go toModules>Online Library …>Public Library, and install theMonomal module
  • 4. If you do have a Monome, install theVirtual Monomemodule as well

Note: When a newer version of Monomal will be available, you will be notified.
Note: The settings of Monomal are saved in the Modul8 project file (so you can have different settings on each project).
Note: you do not need a Monome to test Monomal, as you can use a module that creates a virtual Monome.
